# A Simple Breakfast With my Thesis #

27-5-2013 (Monday) - Early morning, having a simple breakfast and practicing my slides once again before the viva session. Thanks Sweetie for preparing all the things well and accompany me along my master life. Feel very "幸福" as well treated by you. Anyway, you also one of my "VIP" - Very Important Person. I try to thank you without words.

Thanks for my co-supervisor who really good enough with me and attended my viva session. Finally, I finish my presentation within 40 minutes. The viva session is over. (Congratulations to You, You pass your Master with minor changes!). Yes, I did it! Thanks to my examiner, chairperson, and my supervisor and co-supervisor. The whole viva session took me 1 hours 30 minutes (Presentation, Q&A, Discussion within examiner, and Break Tea). 

After viva, I got "VIVA" car. Thanks to my University, who sponsored me (Zamalah Anugerah Penyelidikan Naib Canselor, ZPNC). Of course, need to thank my boss who nominate me.

25-5-2013 (Tuesday ) - I just received the email two weeks ago before I viva. The viva voce session was held on 27 May 2013. Start my preparation: bought air-ticket (24/5 - 28/5) and bus ticket as well as doing my presentation slides. Finally, I able to finish my viva presentation slides within one week. Ops! Other people may able to finish within few days, but I only managed to finish it after one week. Yes, because of LATEX, because I want to present with professional way. Of cause is because my co-supervisor. Thanks to her as spending the valuable times, and work on the slides with me before I viva. And we had 4 hours discussion during the weekend. Edited the slides one by one and explained to me step by step. Once the slides is get done, she show me the way (How to present the slides during viva - 1) At first, how to greet people, 2) How to start the slides, 3) How to link the contents between the slides, and 4) Finally, how to conclude the slides.). After that, is my turn to present in front of her. This so called "Presentation skills". To improve my presentation skills, I more prefer to learn in this way rather than attend English class. As for writing skills, I was learning when I wrote my thesis. Anyway, thanks to my both boss. My thesis is submitted to CGS without proof reading and corrections.

11-11-11 (Friday) - Hmm.."11".."11".."11"..Wah, a good date? Everyone posted it at Facebook. For me, everyday also special day as you make yourself special everyday. Are you? Today is prizes giving for the St. Thomas's Archive and Website Competition 2011 at St. Thomas School, Kuching during their assembly. Today also is the last day of school for them. Early morning, we have to reach at school before 7a.m. This times, I went there along with my senior as my boss around. When the assembly started, Mr. Wong bringing us to the hall. First times, I feel that I become VIP once I enter the hall..ha.. :) All the students welcome us...Suddenly, I feel that I went back to my secondary school (form 6) "Sam Tet School" is boy school..I really miss it. First, start with the "Negaraku"..followed by school song - speech by principal - prizes giving (within 5 minute).. “台上5分鐘台下十年功”.. During the website competition period (prepare poster, cert, scanning training, judge criteria, find sponsor, press release, meeting and etc..) Learn a lot of things..Yeah..Finally, I finished my job.. :) Next, I should pass my job to others..Haha :)

4-9-2011 (Sunday) - Finally, I need to move again from my block to other block (International block) due to the renovation. Within this few months, I already 3 times move here and there, feel very tired. Fortunately, this times sweetie is helping me (谢谢你，辛苦你了……), else I do need to climb up and down how many times, some more my room at the top floor, level 4..@@

准备开饭 ！！

What I should write? Too many things..><
7-3-2011(Monday)
This whole weeks is busy with applying the fundamental research grant scheme (FRGS) for my master project. Modify here and there until now still modifying as the document have to go to many level (supervisor, faculty, university, and finally high education level..). Killing so many trees as printing and printing again. Haiz.. Finally, really hope get the grants, so that my master project will be go smoothly.

8-3-2011(Tuesday)
Today, is the tutorial 4 for SAD. Feel happy when a student telling me, she very understanding what I teach during the class, give a clap to me. They start paying attention during the tutorial class. Tutor should have communicate often with the students, so that there is no gap between us.

9-3-2011(Wednesday)
I feel very happy because finally, I can date with sweetie for lunch after long long times ago. Thanks for "cia" me eat. Feel lovely when together with you. Hope we can have outing when free again. ^^

10-3-2011(Thursday)
Today, I should meet my supervisor for master progress meeting. Oh no, because lack of sleep, so the meeting is cancel. Until now, I still haven updated my master progress to him almost 2 months. A bit worry now, but as long as I know what I have doing now is alright. Besides that, I been assigned to mark the midterm paper. While I marking the paper. Should I feel sad or happy? Feel happy is because the student can answer it. Feel sad is because the student don't want to try to answer. But, both students also in same class. Is my problem? Or other problems? Anyway, I have to find the solution as soon as possible.

11-3-2011(Friday)
After the meeting, still need to modify the FRGS form but this times is better, just minor changes only (after modifying 4-5 times). Today, I so happy as I can play badminton with sweetie and others at 7 mile badminton court there. So long, not do exercise after my leg get injured last times. This times, I can play again mean that my leg recover. After play 2 hours not stop (7.30 pm- 9.30pm), feel tired and come out sweat..NICE..After finish playing, we go "lao haung jia" eat dinner.
12-3-2011(Saturday)
Half day in lab, half day went out..haha :) Enjoy enjoy..Where is our next station..? Beach Carnival in April?

13-3-2011(Sunday)
Early 4.30am go to Kuching for the Going Green Charity Sale. Helping them carrying all the things. So tired, no times to eat and rest. Hopefully, got sweetie dabao food for me. Standing whole day at the drink stall there, keep asking"Do you want to buy fresh soya ? This one is Rm 10.00..This one is Rm 3.00" Suddenly, become a sale girl. Finally, we manage to sell all. No bad, got experience in marketing. ^^


~~Kayaking in Unimas ~~

4-7-10 (Sunday) - Life in Unimas is just like that. Sometimes is too busy with the assignment and project. Sometimes is too boring but I will not make my life just like that. Today, the weather is quite good. Hence, my friends and I decide to kayak at evening. Three years in Unimas also not kayak. Today is my first times kayaking. Because I haven play kayak before, hence I need my friend (Fadilah) to company me and give me instruction. Thanks to her so much. Without her, I think i will not try kayak. We start kayaking.(Left, right, left, right...) At first, I feel very hard to control it. Is start to think negatively. How? If the boat in unbalance. Shall I continue to kayaking? Because of her, I trust her and let her to lead me and finally we cross over the Unimas bridge. When we want to return back. It a bit hard. We turn around at the lake few times. But, I also not give up, keep trying and trying and finally safety reach. Enjoying kayaking..^^
